SCB AT St.Charles associates - Vakola
Love conquers hatred; love measures the depth of forgiveness . Love borrows the humility, Love is the symbol of life and Love is God himself. Mary our Mother is a symbol of God’s love. She is the chosen one to lead us in the way of love.
Being the month of October, we gathered together on 5th October 2022 at 6.30 pm for the Eucharistic Celebration in our chapel. We honored her by praying the rosary, for it is the most beautiful and the richest of all prayers. Rev. Fr. Renold was the main celebrant who revived the spirit of our remarkable 14 associates through his sermon. During the Consecration, they recommitted themselves to the Lord as Being part of St.Charles family.
After the mass, we had a short meeting to plan for the year. Sr. Sophia welcomed them and conducted Tambola and were given gifts. Sr. Celine had arranged the appetizing dinner.
St. Charles Feast Day Celebrations:
In preparation of St. Charles Feast, we had our Novena prayers in whatsapp group. On 3rd Nov. 2022, we celebrated our family feast by inviting our associates. Sr. Monica conducted a small prayer service. Mrs. Jasmine, the master of the ceremony planned extra special events, which thrilled our spirit. Mr. Charleston, conducted games which kept us on our toes. We ended our day with a delicious meal.
We feel disheartened about the demise of our SCB associate Mrs. Hedwigh Fernandes. Her age never hindered to the spirit of being an active member who never missed any activity of the associates. While we offer her our loving tribute,we pray that her spirit continues to live on in our association.
