“God’s work ever keeps growing.” With five women of our parish, the first SCB Associates’ group began by Sr.Therese Paul in 2012 here in Rippon at Wayanad. It was steadily growing in quality

In June 2022 the group selected Mrs. Sherin D’Silva as president and Mrs. Beena George as secretary.The group is supportive of the community in time of need its special events and reach out in giving a helping hand in cooking. serving the guests etc. Apart from joining in works of compassion, visiting the sick in the hospitals, attending the funerals, praying with the families has been regular pattern of their lives. Whenever a sister is left alone the president of the group used to spend the night in the convent The spirit of belongingness is thus cultivated.

We are deeply sad to inform that the President Rosily Chechi was diagnosed with galloping cancer and she passed away in May 2022. It was a great loss for the SCB association in Wayanad. After the death of Rosily Chechi, Sherin D’ Silva was elected as president and Beena George as the secretary. Then two more energetic, enthusiastic and committed members were added to the group.

We have regular meeting on every 3″‘ Sunday at 5 pm. During this meeting, we read and share the word of God using the seven steps of Lumko method. A short input for fifteen minutes about the patron • St. Charles, founder Fr.Adrian Brezzy, the charism, mission of the sisters of St Charles and the role of the laity in the synodal church is shared among the members.
